Friends

Grrrr, don't you hate it when you type an amazing post then go to alter the font and the whole lot disappears! I am peeved. I was rabbiting on about the amazing weekend we had welcoming Rhys and Mary back up from the South Island to their new farm in Northland. A hugely wonderful weekend that really makes you realise just how much you miss the lakes and all the lovely people that we live with when we are there. Will post more on that tomorrow when I get the pics to post too.

Nick came home fizzing tonight from his guitar lesson. He had just learned a new blues song and could play it perfectly. We were amazed as it flowed from his fingers without the hesitancy that has been there before. I think this boy might have found his niche.

And the memory of the amazing post is not-quite-exact-enough to reproduce it ... but enough to know how great it was now it's gone!
Can you save a draft?

That's great about the guitar lesson - such a cool instrument to play. I love your photos - it's so beautiful up around there - we loved our trip up north this summer.

Thanks for leaving such a lvely message on my blog. I am so proud of Darryn - he's been amazing. And, reading your latest post, reminded me that Darryn used to play electric guitar in a band many moons ago and while he's been working on his fitness the guitar has been coming out again. What a great hobby.

Crtl-Z has wonderful restoring properties if you remember to do it in time ;)

WTG on the smooth guitar playing... DS calls it "zumming" ( hang over from the Al Perkins book Hands, Hands, Fingers, Thumb). Such a nice instrument to play and listen to.
